Who we are:

1. History

Ahmed Moosani (Founder) Born in 1938 in Gujrat, India. He migrated to Pakistan in 1947. After early education, he set up a small business in a shop of food colors, tea & milk powder in the late 1950s’. Later on, he pursued his career in poultry farming. Later on, poultry business was taken over by his late eldest son after the death of Ahmed Moosani.

Currently, the business is entering its third generation, with Mr. Ahmed Moosani’s grandchildren being inducted into the company under a carefully managed programme supervised by his son and current Managing Director, Mr. Hanif Moosani to carry on the family legacy.

2. Our Company

Moosani Impex, a family-owned business established in the year 2013 and started functioning in the capacity of Importer & trader of dairy & amp food chemicals. Our business focus is Ex-stock, where we import & stock in warehouses. All imports for the Ex-stock business are through the Karachi port, with goods then shifted to warehouses, located in Karachi for onward distribution to its customers across Pakistan.

Leadership:

1.Hanif Moosani

Hanif Moosani (Managing Director), was (born 1975) in Karachi, joined his father’s business of food colors and flavors in 1987. He began the marketing & selling of food chemicals via an outlet, Hanif Essence House in old city area of Karachi and elevated the business to a versatile range in coming years.

2. Arsalan Moosani (Director)

Elder son of Hanif Mossani, born in 1994, joined the family business in 2010. He started his career by importing pulses & amp spices from African countries & selling to Pakistani traders.  He then formed Moosani Impex in 2013 and successfully led the dairy & food chemical company since then.
